What toys were popular in the 1950s

Each year different toys come out on the market and different toys are more popular.

Toys can come and go as new technology comes out and new crazes come and go. Some toys do stay popular for years such as Lego and Dolls.

As the years have progressed different toys are release but back in the 1950's very different toys were around.

The toys in the 1950's according to the toy retailers association were:

From Walt Disney: Wind up Cinderella dancing dolls.

Flying saucer from Cascelloid.

In the 1950's there was the first toy fair in Harrogate.

Also in the 1950's there was the first meeting of the NATR - the toy retailers association.
